So true Susanne.
Speaking about umbrellas on our holiday from view of car I saw a clematis in shape of an umbrella.
A post with a clump of chicken wire shaped like a brolly then clematis entwined very effective.

How clever! I recently saw a picture of one growing through an old bicycle. It was on the website of a nursery I visited last week. But when I got there, there was no sign of it. I was quite disappointed!
Are you home again now? Hope you're having a chance to recover from your "holiday"! You certainly deserve it. You must be so pleased after all your training for the ascent. I'm very impressed!

Yes home now still sorting out the many fantastic photos to share with you all.
What a shame Susanne a bike of clematis would look good to see.
I really am still on a high and wearing the tea shirt to prove I did it.

Thank you Sussane the buzz was just amazing.
And when I was getting closer in my head I really wanted to jump for joy and shout I did it .
But I was in shock as was so thrilled could not speak.

Like a parasol - or perhaps an umbrella is more suitable this year!
