Lower garden stream 30 July 2012

Beautiful mature garden.

We mostly planted this area in 1995, starting with a blank canvas. In 2001, we cut the artificial stream through the planting that we had put in about 6 years previously. Most of the conifers and acers are now 17 years old.

I would love a stream like that ,I don't think I could face all that hard work now though .....
