No fruit yet. This is a cutting from my aunt's plant last year, it has really shot up this year. I really didn't know it was a Goji berry plant (I don't think she knows either), I really liked the color of the flower.

That's amazing! Goji berries and their juice is extremely popular here in the U.S. It has extremely high anti-oxidants properties. It's considered one of those "miracle" fruits like: Açaí, Pitaya (which I have, it just bloomed), Noni, and mangosteen.

Good to know. I love eating anything with anti-oxidants!

I think I need to cut it down a little, it's gone mad....hight but not bushy.

I hope it produces many berries for you!

Maybe the tips need to be trimmed? I always trim all the tip branches on my tropical guavas. It keeps them nice and compact.

I think I should trim it in spring?

I asked my aunt today where she bought her plant from. She made it from a cutting.....she had no idea it's a Goji berry. She doesn't remember seeing berries but she trims hers very low all the time.

Yes, you don't want to trim out the fruiting branches.

I just read about this plant. It's in the Solanaceae family: which includes tomatoes, potatoes and eggplant. I thought the flowers looked like it belonged in this family.

It's native to southeastern Europe and Asia. It's also called Wolfberry.

Hopefully I will post pics of berries soon. ;o)))

Yes, I'd like to see the fruit.

I'm guessing this plant may be available for sale here. Haven't noticed it, though.

I'm sure it's for sale there!
