Your plumeria look very healthy & full of blooming. Not like my plumeria it leaves look so pale & droopy do to the super hot weather recently, eventhough I did watering it full of water until it drain completely, also before I go sleep I spray it stem with a little more water.

Sometimes too much water can cause the leaves to droop and yellow. Too much tlc to a plumeria can kill it. I've done this myself, many times. The plant can be misted; however, the soil should be left to get pretty dry before the next watering (especially in plastic pots). I grow most of my plumerias in terra cotta pots...they dry out faster and breathe.

The colors on this plumeria are brighter than ever with this intense heatwave we've been experiencing.

That is what I did which is left the soil pretty dry like about 3-4 days to rewater the soil, but I did mist the plant twice a day but the leaves look unhappy, droopy, very light green (like the color of baby banana leaves) instead of dark green, some time a certain area on the leaves turn black & crunchy then felt off.

Most of the time plumeria plants are grown in greenhouses. So the plant must adapt to the outdoor conditions. It sound like it need to have a little shade until it gets sun-hardy. What I do for a newly purchased plumeria is change to the soil to a faster-draining medium and put it into a terracotta pot.

The person sold me my plumeria said that it have been always kept outdoor w/o protection even in Winter.
I did add more cactus & palm soil, a lot more perlite with it old soil that already in the pot & repoted it into a bigger black plastic nursery pot right away after I brought it home.
I thought that the terracotta & clay pot will hold up the water that will be giving plumeria wet feet. Is it right Delonix1?

Actually terracotta pots let the soil breathe. It's much better for a plumeria than a plastic pot.

It's a widely grown Plumeria here. It was developed here in Southern California.

Thanks for the website. I may just wait until the big Plumeria sale here in Balboa Park. It's a gigantic plumeria sale done by the Plumeria Society. One used to be able to get really good deals on the last days of the sale.

That's great they have sales there you will be taking a chance then leaving it until last. You will have to do what the woman do here when they want a dress or item of clothing they find the best in their size and hide it on another rail in amongst other clothes lol

Unfortunately, it would work for a plumeria. There's many sellers (most Plumeria Society members). They watch their plant like a hawk. All the plumeria are tagged because they the people taking the money give it to the correct person after the sale.

So its not like sales here then its a Pulmeria society sale from other plant breeders.

Yes, it's many sellers (or enthusiasts) who belong to the Plumeria Society, generally. There's some really interesting plumeria varieties for sale. It's every Labor Day Weekend in Balboa Park, San Diego.

Thats wonderful I would love to go and see them a day out then for you interesting about unusuall varieties.

When it first started about 17 years ago. It used to be a smaller sale. Now, it's so extremely busy. It's a madhouse! The horticulture building in Balboa Park isn't big enough for the Plumeria sale, anymore. I'm guessing eventually it'll have to be held in a bigger building.

So it shows its becoming more wanted then. I hope you get one from the sale one you want.

Oh yes, Plumeria trees are extremely popular here. So many varieties being hybridized these days. They've always been popular because of their drought tolerance especially in the ground. Now, there's so many varieties in multi-colors, oranges, reds, pinks, white, yellow, peach and it goes on-and-on.

Do they loose scent like roses do and do they grow as well. being hybridized.

Sometimes the fragrance is stronger or sweeter on the hybrids. All varieties are hybrids.

Most species of Plumeria are native the North American Tropics. The Caribbean and Mexico and part of Central America and a very few to South America.

Many Plumerias have been hybridized in Hawaii...however, a lot here in California, also.

I always thought north America was a colder climate interesting though. So they are not originally from Hawai'i .

North America is huge, it encompasses so many climates, from arctic in the north to tropical in the south.

North America consists all of Canada, The U.S., Mexico and the Caribbean. Mexico, the Carribean have a lot of tropical regions.

Ugh Mexico and Caribbean North ? Of United States of America how do they make that out when on the globe map its south of the United States of America and the Caribbean is to the right strange way of teaching you all over there.

Yes, they're all part of North America. If you look a map North America is all landmass North of Central America.
