These are the first to open Hb...

Mine are just opening too. I think they are so pretty, even after the petals have fallen.

The only draw back for me, is they are a bit thuggish in my garden...Last year i dug them all out (or so i thought)...and here they are again...:>)

They are deceptively easy to pull up, aren't they? But the bulbs stay put! I have them all over the place. I just pull them up as soon as they appear in the wrong place. Unfortunately, I have to do it every year! They grow beautifully in a very narrow border under a wall and a large tree in my front garden, just as the bluebells do in spring, so I forgive them a lot!

Sounds lovely Mel....I love them too, its just i have such a small garden and they dont be long taking over....:>)
