Its a very old variety apparently...I had to dig a lot of it out during Spring..It was a massive clump...i kept a little piece and this is it, flowering...:>)

I like russet and terracotta colours very much, and not just in plants. I have a Cezanne that uses those colours and I adore it. (It's a print, I hasten to add!)

Some grow so fast don't they, I have sooooooo many clumps of 'Frans Hals' .
It is an old one Moti 1947!!, just searched it on Tinkersgarden :-))

That's a good idea Meanie, I hate to throw good plants away,I'll check if we have one near us, a lot I can sell on eBay but the more common ones don't sell we'll, Frans Hals is lovely Moti very prolific flowerer mine looks lovely at the moment too :-)
