This is one of the many hundreds of plumeria trees growing in my neighborhood. Photo taken Aug. 9, 2012.

This tree is much larger now. They cut down the trunk on the left (hopefully, it was re-planted!). I'll most likely get a new pic this year.

That's good to know . I wonder if they cut it down not to block the view of the window when it got bigger. I hope to they replanted it.

Probably not to block the window. There used to be three trunks. I hope they replanted them! They root very easily from really big cuttings. It's perfect for an instant tree.

Yes, they grow from very large cuttings (they just need to be staked). I have a Plumeria 'Tomlinson' which a Palm Society member gave me large cutting a few years back. I just planted it directly into the ground and it grew.
