Courgette triffids with yucca and hostas

This is the first time I've had yellow courgettes...and I knew that when I planted two, it was one too many! But, I had to allow for sudden death...
...but, I have to admit that I'll never plant green ones again...these are so much nicer!

They're huge!
Next year try the tennis ball sized round ones (called "Eight Ball" I think). They're superb too, and heavy cropper as well.

I'm getting up to a dozen courgettes every other day...and I won't be able to get up the path soon!
I've grown the round green ones before - they are brilliant for the BBQ...just the right shape. I do like the texture of these yellow ones, though...maybe one of each next year!

I grew them last year and they cropped really well. Only trouble is, I'm the only one in the family that eats them lol Jx
Oh got green ones this year and only just getting the first ones.!

It's amazing what you can do with them if you grate them.............
