Very pretty, but strikes me as rather an odd choice of name? Is it darker than your photo shows perhaps?

Yes, Denise - in reality, the flower looks a lot darker. I think the light might have reflected off the raindrops.

P.S. What light? It's soooooo gloomy today. :-((

Very hot here, just because I decided to move some plants around.......duh!!

Its hot here, up to 31 degrees today Spritz, having been cold, wet and windy yesterday.

We had 19 degrees this morning, and it rained. The sun came out this afternoon, but it was only in the low 20s. I don't think the 'Spanish Plume' is coing our way. :-(
