Yes, Denise - in reality, the flower looks a lot darker. I think the light might have reflected off the raindrops.
P.S. What light? It's soooooo gloomy today. :-((

Thanks Spritz, the name makes more sense if its darker. It wet and windy here but I believe we are in for some very hot weather?

Its hot here, up to 31 degrees today Spritz, having been cold, wet and windy yesterday.

We had 19 degrees this morning, and it rained. The sun came out this afternoon, but it was only in the low 20s. I don't think the 'Spanish Plume' is coing our way. :-(
