This beautiful pine tree grows only in the High Tatras. Very resistant to winds and frosts. This one grew almost directly from rocks. Blog coming soon:)))

:)) Absolutely! It is amazing tree. That´s admiring. I saw them (Pinus sp.) with roots just like octopus tentacles they embraced rocks and stones just to find a little slot with soil among them. Will upload one photo for you.

it's amazing where life can find a toe-hold! and what this tree has to put up with - can't have very deep roots, so it must have a job to hold place with the wind that must come at it.
Look forward to the blog!
