Orange daylilies

These are real treat for the deer. I was lucky to capture this picture. Next day they were gone. I do not blame the deer I like to put them in the salads as well to jazz them up ....and the deer won the race.

Orange flowers are so cheerful. I also have some yellow ones. But they suffer the same fate. They were in the garden when we bought the house and I do not have a heart to dig them out. Actually, I have several flowers like that and my husband is teasing me that I grow sticks not flowers.

They are beautiful...I have the same problem with muntjacs similar to deers but smaller, they used to be able to get into my garden and ate quite a lot of my plants, as you have said... roses are their favourite, and mine as well I have managed to block their way in for the moment, but I wonder for how long :((((
