Oh, you would make me look it up; wouldn't you? lol....Yes- it's an annual native to Brazil, also called ten-o-clock flower because that's about the time the flowers open...Thanks Bjs:)

I have looked them up now,And while I can obtain them in the UK think my part of it is a bit wet the other direct problem with my garden is that a lot of it is shaded by large trees.

Don't give up yet Brian, these do need a sunny spot; but they do well in shallow pots. The one in the photo is growing in a tiny tin tub with pebbles on top:)
