Special Anniversary

Lovely blooms and lovely glossy leaves.

Oh yes - the leaves are so clean (I've got a fair bit of black spot developing now)

Thank you both, think black spot has been a big thing with all the wet we have had this year. Shame isn't it because it ruins the look of the roses. I have one in particular which has it badly, Zephirin Druin - it is prone to black spot so I just put up with it.

Yes, it is a shame, but my garden came off lightly through the worst of the weather, so I can't complain.

Oh that is good to hear Melchi, I know some parts over that side of the country were hit hard. We have had lots of rain but the garden has really appreciated it and it saved me watering twice a week.

My 'Warm Welcome' is also having a good second flush. In fact the garden is more colourful now than all year!
