This has been a very good year for the mango fruit, the trees are loaded! Typically, the earliest varieties ripen in late July or early August; however, many varieties ripen in September. Photo taken Sept. 8, 2012.

I really miss my Keitt mango tree! (which died from being crowded out by other plants) Even though it was small, it would produce fruit.

That's terrific! Typically, seedlings take 3 - 5 years to flower and produce fruit. Mangoes need warm to hot temps (and very dry conditions - this is extremely critical or they abort all flowers) to flower. Once the fruit has set they don't mind wetter conditions.
