A houseplant

I'm not sure what type of plant this is, but have it in a vase of water. The root system is VERY strong, and it produces the most unusual flowers. They feel like wax - almost artificial. Need to get it potted, although my sister warns me that if I do, it may stop blooming!

Yes I agree, it's Hoya carnosa. I used to have one for many years. It was in a pot but flowered every year. It eventually died but I'm going to get another one.
There is also a smaller one called Hoya bella which is very pretty.

I must get it into a pot. As a matter of fact, I believe there are a couple different starts in that same container.

I used to grow this vine with beautiful vax flower balls.
It's name is Hoya carnosa.Mine had very dark leaves though.
Somewhere between our moves I lost it. Now you reminded me and I will look for it again. Thanks for posting.
