Cotinus obovatus

Not much to see now but was excited to find it at the nursery. It had been stuck in a one gallon pot so long that the roots had grown through the bottom and taken hold of the landscape fabric around it. I can't wait to see this in a few years, one of my favorite plants for fall color. I don't get why US native trees are so hard to find though!
