Here is the Lower Garden Midsummer, just after a good grass clipping and clean up. The whole bed closest is all new this year, the valerian lasted only a few more days before being dragged flat by a downpour. They were wonderful, though too large for that position really.

This looks so cute and how good that we have photography to enable us to look back.
Is the weather bad now?

Thank you Val. Wonderful to look back, and yes, the weather has turned, First hard frost came with snow last night! I hadn't brought in a few things yet, so they look a little sad, but I'm sure they'll recover, at least I hope. Still pondering my dahlias. I don't have cool storage anymore so I've got to figure out what to do with them. Alas, I'm planning too late. :-)

The place has to be heated somewhat or it is too cold. I am not sure what temp under the cabin sees yet, but that is where I'm testing temps. It would be best there.

Thank you Homebird. I so loved browing this garden to this point. A bit nostalgic now that I've gone, but still lovely memories like this one.
