7", crispate type salmon self with red eyezone and yellow to green throat.
Even at this late date I am getting first time blooms! This opened and went from a questionable status to a keeper - I am getting ready to pull out the uglies and move the keepers together so I have room for next years seedlings.

I should really post some of those going away. I took pictures of everything, so now I can go row by row and look at what happened and say yes or no. But there are those I know flowered, but I never liked enough to take a photo.
My backyard is around 4000 sq meters, and it becomes too much sometimes, especially in warm weather. Now that it has cooled off, I'm back to weeding and cutting the grass.

Gardening with friends since
3 Sep, 2009
It is glorious! What uglies? I did not see any uglies! I went for a stroll through the daylily beds this morning and there are a few scapes now. I have my hands full, because it seems that I don't have a gardener any more. It has been 4 weeks now. Something must have happened to him, he was always reliable and would let me know if he has problems. The garden is very big for one person to handle! One cannot hire somebody from the streets whom you don't know, it is very dangerous.
