which camera have you got shirl?

I've just got a little Lumix10x optical zoom, Panasonic DMC-SZ1.
I bought it on price - not knowledge!!!! Decided to use my Littlewoods catalogue & it was £199 I think. I'm a bit 'addled' at this time of night but I think that's what it cost! I've only used it a few times & haven't read up on it much yet. I wanted a small one I could easily carry around, my other one, a Fuji Finepix S is fine, but a bit cumbersome.
This one's so neat!!!!

OH has one of those lumix ~ its great on zoom, i dont know about macro, will ask him.

[had to laugh ~ he didnt know either!] but he had a look and said to use that central circular button but you click the lower or upper portion ~ it will show a leaf and says its in macro mode

if i get stuck with my camera i google it or youtube it ~ some are really helpful sites.

the stalk parts nearest to the camera look fine to me.

Quite hairy isn't it! You don't realise what some things are like until you get a really close up. I love to try macro on all sorts of things. With digital it's easy isn't it - no worries about wasting film!

Yes you can find out anything you want on internet can't you - well mostly! Don't know what I did before I had it. If a place anywhere in the world is mentioned on tele or somewhere, I like to look up to see where the place is & what it is like. That goes for where people live as well.

I love macro too! And maps!

28 Sep, 2012

obviously you & I have similar likes!!! I would rather have a map when we travel anywhere - I wouldn't have a sat-nav even as a gift!!
I like to look up the villages or whever en-route, so don't like motorways either!!

I like maps but don't ask me to find the way anywhere! Why don't they paint the roads red and green like they are on the maps?

28 Sep, 2012

Good idea - I always think colour coding is a brilliant idea for all sorts of things!

29 Sep, 2012

Just imagine, you could find your way anywhere at all very easily if the road you wanted was red or green or purple or whatever!!!! Just follow the colour! smimples!!!!

29 Sep, 2012

Exactly! And coloured cats eyes for night driving!

29 Sep, 2012

Good idea again. I think they ought to ask you to plan the road system & I could chip in too!!

29 Sep, 2012

Oooops I'm sure you would do just fine but mine might end up like multi coloured spaghetti junction!
