sorry Sticki...put this up so Karen could see where the tiarella is naturalized...no the trilliums bloom in early May and the tiarella just a little later.

oh i see! i thought they were usually spring but i wondered if perhaps they had flowered a second time?

The leaves die down in autumn, Sticki...but it has an extended root system..so it will pop up again in spring. Protect the leaves as much as you can as they nourish the important stems of the plant which run under the soil.

one disappeared long before the other died down, i am just hoping it was eaten by the slugs?
