Bark of Dirca ..Ropebark

I hadn't heard of that one Lori !

I was making my way to the top of your ridge the first spring here and found two specimens. I was attracted by the almost lime green bark...got a pic of the blossoms which were quite different from anything I'd seen..and posted a question here on goY in hopes someone would recognize it instantly. The flowers finally gave me it's name...and google of course.
