Clematis florida 'Sieboldii' - close-up

I grow this clematis on a northwest-facing pergola. Supposedly not too hardy but I've had it a seven years now and it is reliable and long flowering. Often starts into strong growth in February before I have time to prune it; this year I cut it hard back and then we had some cold weather so it has only just started to bloom (it is usually over by now). Reaches ten feet in favourable conditions. Also listed as 'Bicolor' but this is an old name which has been superceded
