Lily, Orange Electric

Looks to be a stunning Lily! At least you managed to see it for a little time & now you have this lovely photo of it as a reminder! :-))

Thank you Balcony. And yes, at least I got to see some. Next year I'll get an even larger show as well. :-) I love it, just can't help but stop and look as I flick through shots, and I didn't even take many. lol.

Such a lovely lily GT...you know my sister and I visited a garden together in Washington state, summer before last.. they had some lilies that were stunning, mostly pale yellows. The gentleman showing us through the garden handed a Lily petal to both of us..and said to taste them as he chewed one up...! We did and I found it quite good! Now each time I see a different kind of day lily I have to wonder what it might taste like! They all seem to have their own flavor.. :o)

Thank you Cat. I would not have expected a nice flavor from asiatic lily. I do love that citrus zap of begonias and can't stop from eating the petals of every flower. I'll research before I eat these.....lol.

Tiger lilies are quite tasty... :o)
