I am glad you like it, Simbad! It is very dry here, we had no rain in the winter and it is the end of the spring soon and still no rain. But we have cloudy weather today, so I hope and pray for rain this very day.

I like the red/purple combo. The nice thing about it getting cooler is that my daylilies are lasting into the next day.

Wylie, it is blowing my mind that daylilies are doing so well there with you. At last we got really good rainfall, the daylilies are very lazy to open today.

My biggest problem is getting them enough sun. I live on the north side of the island and as the sun gets lower in the sky I get more shade. Soon my entire front yard will be in shade all day from the trees across the street, which get taller every year. The neighbor doesn't want to cut them as they provide a wind block, but as they grow, they loose everything on the bottom and end up blocking nothing but the sun.

Love this one Daglelie, reminds me very much of one I have called 'Black Eye', summer and the daylilies seems so long ago now, supposed to turn really cold here tonight/tomorrow :-(
