This is our new addition to our small family, He has been coming in to eat late at night for over a year now and we made a bed in my potting shed for him as it became clear that he spent most night there. A few weeks back i asked my husband to put a cat flap in the shed door, as I worried that a dog could trap him in the shed, alsoto keep most of the weather out. Then he started staying in the house but running out if he heard us coming. He has come on in leaps and bounds in the last few weeks. He looks totally at home now and only seems threatened sometimes, I think he has been ill treated and run away, as he fears not being able to get out.
Ellie has let him in gradually, but still keeps him in his place, I think she new he needed a home. We are very priveliged to have him in our family.

You have been very kind in going to so much trouble to make sure he has been protected and providing him with a warm home ,he will settle down in time and feel more secure ...he trusts you or he wouldn't have stayed :o)
