Tubular 2 1/2-inch bright yellow flowers are highlighted by very attractive, shiny, green foliage. It has a smell which I do not care about.I believe that it is an evergreen shrub.
It bloomed very sparsely at this time of the year. It is hardy to zone 8 but I do not think we can successfully grow it on Vancouver Island.
The picture appears to be darker here than on my computer but hopefully it still shows the characteristics of the leaf and the flower

It is Bik, I wish we could grow it on Vancouver Island.

What climate zone are you in Bik? I do not think they would survive if you get frost.
