Pauls Best Yellow

Pauls Best Yellow

Another one from Karen - also late. Maybe they flowered later because they were in pots when they arrived but I am keeping fingers crossed that they do flower later on in the season as all others had long gone when these came out.

They will look so bright and colourful growing close to each other.
I know they tend to take over an area but I do like them. They are nice to pick for the house too.

I love crocosmia Wildrose, but I seldom pick them, though I have had odd ones when they have been knocked over and bent so I put them in a vase. Thanks for looking in. :O)

Hi Moti - thank you, they are lovely, haven't been on much so missed out on quite a lot but not to worry am trying to keep in touch again now. Thanks again for looking in. :O)

These will be wonderful next year when they have filled out a bit! And you'll love the other one as well!

yes they certainly will Karen. I love them all. So cheerful and will be more so if they are as late flowering in the year as these were this year. I am keeping fingers crossed.

yes very pretty, in fact they are all very pretty in their various colours, this one was a present from Karensue and it flowered late on in the year so hopefully it will do the same again for me this year.

I hope so, the late flowering ones are special! The foliage of mine are now dead, I need to go and cut them down.

I have been out today and done some clearing out - Clematis 'Olde Mans Beard' bore the brunt of the pruning shears this morning. If my arms ache tomorrow that will be the reason. lol. It was really hard work cutting it back amazing how much growth that one puts on in a year.

Yes, they are monsters aren't they. I got to work on the Christmas tree with secateurs. Such a sad thing, but it really was time. The needles were terrible, but not too sharp...you can't beat a Fraser Pine! :) The scent is tremendous! All gone now for another year.....sigh!

I do love the smell of a real tree but hate the pines, I stopped buying real ones when I ran out of room to plant them in the garden, had them with a root on so that they could be planted out. Double the pleasure for my money, lol. :O)

Yes, sadly that doesn't work with central heating, but I can deal with the mess.
