These are fairly expensive. For me anyway. They are beautiful and certainly do not look like the stuff made in China. I would guess that the cost is equivalent to hand made Persian carpets. There are some good weavers in Oaxaca Mexico, which use similar patterns and their carpets are little cheaper. They are very colorful. All the dyes are made from the indigenous plants with rich pigements.
I like hand weaved products. Might try it one day on my own. Not carpets... just scarfs or placemats...something small and easy.
Have a good Christmas Bumpy.

Hwyell, it is sad to see that there is less and less of that around. Mostly made in China stuff.
This part of the world is rich in craftsmanship and art. But most of it is decorative art...and prohibitively expensive .

Hand made things are very individual, and take longer to make, so I suppose they would be on the expensive side. I have pottery making equipment. I'm going to start doing it again in the spring :o)

love the orange colours on the rug on the left. Out of interest how much do they sell for K?
I have friends who are weavers, they moved to Canada about 5 years ago & love the life.
