Chitting potatoes

Everyone knows things in the U.S.A are much bigger than the U.K. Here are 2 examples of my daughter's chitted potatoes.
They'll be ready to go in the garden in another fortnight or so !

Ha ha. Things in US are perhaps bigger but not necessarily better. Merry Christmas from Arizona Hank.

Thanks Klahanie, you don't think they'll grow too well then ?

Hello Hank, Oh, they will grow, but will they be delicious?
From my experience if the produce is big and picture perfect it is usually genetically modified and tasteless.

Happens more and more often. We cannot even buy seeds which are not genetically modified these days.

I feel that we (in North America) are fed lots of garbage. I do not think it is so bad in Europe yet. But time comes and it will be the same, I am sure. (It is all about the shareholder value.)
How is that for an opinion :-)
