SILOAM TINY TIM - by Henry 1984- Diploid

It was sold as "Bishops crest" which it is not. It looks like ALWAYS AFTERNOON but this eye is not that dark. i

It is a very nice one, but all you can do is put it in the Unknown catagory. Some times you see a parentage listed as 'unknown', and maybe this is how it happened.

That is a pity. I lIke it a lot. Maybe it has Always afternoon somewhere in its "genes".

Okay, at last I could identify it!

That's great! It looks like the blue/purple eye is easy to pass on (from looking at its children).

That's good news, Wylie. You have me curious about its children now, I am going to take a look at it on Tinkers.

I have Siloam Tiny Tim too Daglelie flowered for the first time this year, fabulous little mini, I also bought one called Magnificent Rainbow which it definitely wasn't, looks more like Always Afternoon which is one of the parents if I remember rightly, did email the supplier who insisted it was the right plant but still not convinced.

Simbad, would you say that I identified this one correctly? I hope I am correct. The bloom is small, but the scape is not short. What would I do without internet!

Can't be sure Daglelie, they can look so different can't they, a lot don't seem to show the fancy patterns here, the cooler weather I think, I'll repost a picture of mine for you see what you think, sure the scape on mine was only just over a foot tall but was its first year this year so I'll keep my eye on it next year.
