Because I can't see the photo which Katarina posted of a very pretty plant I thought it would be easier for her who has seen the plant to say whether this is anything like the one she saw. We are all intrigued by your lovely photo and would like to help you ID it. If this is not it maybe a pm to Bamboo would bring forth another suggestion. I found this on the following link. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Valeriana_officinalis_-_Valerian.jpg

If we can start eliminating some plants that would be helpful. I have tried copying and blowing up the flowers on Katarinas photo in the hope that that might shed some light on which plant it is likely to be but it was too blurry to help me. I have had a look at the link you have given and I'm still undecided. First impression was of a sedum but I don't think the leaves are glaucus enough and photos can distort what you are looking at depending on the angle at which they are taken. It would be helpful if someone who has more experience could advise us on what to photograph when trying to id a plant. As in this case I don't think the plant is local to where she lives so she cannot pop back for another look at it.

Hi Scotsgran. Thank you for posting this picture because I was interested in the plant but I do not believe it is the same as in Katarina's picture. If you look at this webpage you will see why.

The structure of the leaves is very different.
