My favourite bird,Klahanie..you were so lucky to see this..I was given a beautiful stone Owl from our daughter and her family,as a Christmas gift..already in pride of place in the garden..:o))

Big THANK YOU all for your coments and liking this picture. This male and his wife come to serenade me every night (on top of the roof above my bedroom winow) But this was the first time we've actually seen them in twilight. We could even bring out tripod to make this picture.
Have a good "Boxing Day" . Do you have an official "boxing day" arter Christmas day? Day off from work and lots of sales everywhere. We have it in Canada but Americans do not.

Yes klahanie, some shops have sales on but officially we have two days bank holiday
