What temperature do you have? We had minus 9 Celsius in night. But during the day it was sunny and around 1 Celsius.

its about 7 here today, and in the night between 3 and 6 here, but this is middle England ~ it will vary quite a lot across the UK

We have had sun for last three days. But in evenings and mornings there are so thick fogs, that you can cut them by knife.

fog is not nice.

Arthur Conan Doyle liked fogs. They were in all his novels :))

When Arthur Conan Doyle was writing London had a lot of terrible fog, partly caused or made worse by the smoke from coal fires hence called smog.

Im not sure if he liked it but it makes a good atmosphere for writing.

do you know kat ~ i always thought the hound of the baskervilles was set on bodmin moor in cornwall or maybe dartmoor in devon, i just googled it to find its much nearer to me ~ its in the next county ~ i have quite likely been near but never visited ~ i think i should now!!!
