My Blue Eranthemum is full of flower spikes. It should be blooming soon. Photo taken Jan. 4, 2013.

Even though it's from the deep tropics of South India and Sri Lanka is does very well here in San Diego. It's super easy to start from cuttings, also. However, I've read it very, very rarely sets seed. :>(
