Such a pretty sight on a cold grey day and the perfume is gorgeous!

It is about 3-4 years old now and this is the first time it has done this. I think it likes the wet weather!!
I also saw some being used as hedging outside IKEA of all places. The instructions on mine said not to prune but these had been shaped like a hedge and were flowering well. Still I will leave mine to develop naturally!!

I do prune mine (slightly) Pam. They can get pretty "leggy" if you do not. And they bush up after pruning.
Mine seems to be drought tolerant. I do not water it during summer and it never looked distressed. It was in the place when we bought the house and I also bought another one..... I do not why because I never see it in full bloom.
Maybe because it has a lovely fall color.
Yours is doing well.
