Yes, they are very useful! They are aluminium rings I bought around 20 years or so ago when we lived in Spain. Like here I could only grow plants on a balcony but balconies is all that most people have to garden on in Spain. Most people live in big blocks of flats & most flats have a balcony - of sorts! So these rings are very common over there. I brought them back to the UK when I had my 1st holiday back in Cuenca after returning to the UK 11 & 1/2 years ago.
