Their taste is wonderful. They hàve taste, which you cannot always say about the shop-bought mushrooms. Their smell is also much stronger. They are less watery, much drier, perhaps a bit harder, tougher... but we hope to get a lot more, otherwise it does not look worthwhile, too expensive, at least I think so. But it is good fun.
I hope Philip will try to grow them on logs in the garden after this adventure (with the rest of it). Fingers crossed.

We prepared them simply fried in a pan, with butter, salt and pepper, to fully try their taste ;-)
