It's so ironic, my large Bird-of-paradise in the front yard is plant right to a butterfly palm (Dypsis lutescens) just in your posted pic. :>)

Ha. I just sneeked by your house yesterday :-))))
They look good together. This palm is also very popular plant here. This house has 4 in the ground and couple on the terace in the pots.

Yes, the butterfly (or golden cane) palm is very popular here, also. I have several. I have a much larger one just outside the back door in a big pot. It's getting too large for that spot. All the golden palms I have are from off-shoots from the mother plant.

Beautiful...I have one in flower in the greenhouse at the moment but......the greenhouse door is frozen shut and I cant get in there..lol
