You seem to have the amount of snow as us Hb. Last night I was so excited as I saw a fox in our cul-de-sac outlined against the snow. I dashed upstairs for my camera and he was heading towards my house. I didn't dare open the porch door for fear of scaring him off and I managed to take four fantastic pics. When I looked at them, all you could see was the flash reflecting off the frosted porch door:-( So disappointing lol. Unfortunately he was on three legs, maybe hit by a car? I started worrying about him as he must find it hard to find food in this weather. I even had a mad thought to put dog meat out for him, but thought the neighbours might object lol:-)

how strange BA we had a three legged fox here for years and years, it use to watch me through the window whilst I was on the computer and it slept under out lounge window, then last summer the RSPCA knocked on the door and asked they could check the back garden as the guy who lives behind us had seen it in his garden, he said he thought it had been hit by a car and was in a bad way, we asked what would they do if they found it, and they said that it was in such a bad state they would destroy it, we have not seen it since.

It's so sad isn't it Val, wild life can't adapt to the way we live today, especially cars. Years ago a fox killed my two chickens and I felt I could have throttled him on the spot if I'd caught him, but you can't help feeling pity for them and they are very lovely aren't they. I'm going to have another go with my camera tonight if he comes again:-)
