Lovely bicolor

Lovely bicolor

So many faces ended up staring at the ground, this one stood tall and open to the sun, and over my head, about 7 foot, I had to hold the camera very high. Again, late summer in the old garden.

Now where is the weather like this? In Alaska? Amazing...

Thank you. :-) Treasures, helianthus, each one.

This is summer weather Katarina, but we do get warm sun and blue skies then. Right now it is still blue, but -42C just a few days ago.

It was cold. Days like that you wish we shut down, but we wont stop for anything up here. I found every draft in the new cabin and stuffed them up......lol.....that's for sure. I couldn't believe as birds continued to stop in at the feeder, looking fat for all the feather fluffing. :-)

it makes me wonder about things like
does the car work in that temperature
would you have to wear special clothes if you went out at all?
how does all the plumbing cope with a temperature like that?

You are evidently woman who must rely on herself, Sticki. As you have the same worrying questions as I would have, lol.

i think you could be right katarina ~ do you think we must be practical too?

1 Feb, 2013

Fifty fifty. It isn´t good if we are too practical - like for instance a man who invites you and then orders himself coffee and cake while only soda for you. It is also not good if you are too romantic. To watch sunset with empty stomach - that isn´t very practical. :))

oh there is no fear of me being too romantic!!!

Standard questions Sticki, lol. We have heaters built into most of the cars, you plug them in to heat oil, battery and such so things keep moving, or just run them often but that is discouraged these days. Good temp resistance snow boots and some goose down will always keep a person warm. Most of us have that in the car as an emergency kit, but we just wear our regular winter coats, sneakers, whatever, really mostly in your car or buildings heat around this city.
