Pink Amaryllis

This one is one that my daughter had and she nearly drowned the poor thing, it was stood in water and I had to rescue it. lol It has produced a very tall stem with lovely pink flower, all the 5 bulbs which I bought have been different in some way or other.

Yes Karen, they were all potted up at the same time. Sam had hers in Wakefield and we brought it back when she came to Sarah's. It was stood in water. Bless!!

That is good then Wildrose, glad you like it. :O) Do not plant too deep either it only wants to be about 2/3rds into the compost. lol. just listen to me giving advice on bulbs, I have no idea what I am doing either. lol.

Many thanks, I have a habit of planting some bulbs too deep - mainly hyacinths.

I am never very successful with bulbs in the house, but this year they have been, so must be learning, putting it down to experience and all the years I have been practising, mainly all the years. lol :O)
