I couldn't believe the amount of heavy hail last night. Some of the roads and freeways were closed late last night because of the accumulation of hailstones. It was crazy!

I heard about the heavy snowfall in some parts as well, so it sounds as if your winter isn't quite over yet. Thanks goodness your Deppea blooms came through OK. Hopefully there wasn't any other damage at your place.

The heavy snowfall is on the eastern seaboard (New York - Boston), 3,000 miles away from San Diego. However, this has been a very strange winter so far in Southern California.

Good thing winter is almost over......

This winter has definitely been cooler than last year. We've had some warm weather; however, we've had some much cooler than normal temps this year, also. The last three days have been cool. Although, by Wednesday or Thursday the temps will be back into the 70's, from the current upper 50's and low 60's (which I hate, it's too cold!).
