I have bought this azalea with adjective "indica", as I never had this sort. I was surprised to read, that "Southern Indica azalea has the potential to be a big plant and blooms are huge, resemebling to rhododendrons." I wonder if this is true. Can I plant it outside? Will it make a shrub? Who knows?

Obsidian is a suitable stone for very sensitive persons, in psychological problems etc. I think this is the only stone which wasn´t recomended for daily wearing, probably because historically it was used for making different weapons.

interesting that its suitable for sensitive people and yet used for weapons!

What about azalea indica, Sticki, do you know something about it?

no sorry kat, they sell some azaleas here that are for indoors really and i think they dont suggest you put them outside [maybe they dont like frost??] but i have successfully kept at least one outside ~ all winter ~ not sure whether it will flower next year but it looks healthy enough. i dont think they like to dry out? i kept it in the shade.

No expert on these but name suggests India and there Azaleas are not hardy at least not where i live,i believe there are others that come from Japan with similar name they may be hardier but I have never grown them.
What I do know is that they are prone to bud drop if either to wet or to dry.
