Still haven't got this one, I could use my voucher to buy it I suppose.

Pam - one drawback of this shrub is that it generally is only in flower for about three weeks. That's a long time for it to be a passenger in a small garden. It also needs sun to ripen the wood for the following year, so you can't hide it away too much either. Possibly the ideal position is trained against a sunny wall, with perennials or other low-growing plants in front of it, and maybe a small clematis growing over it for later interest

I could grow it on the same wall as my Campsis, likes to be ripened as well. Maybe even in front of it, plenty of room there.
