Washing machine drum

Going to recycle and plant strawberries.
To start with was going to leave the drum outside then decided to grow strawberries in the greenhouse

What a good idea , Scotkat . I hate to throw anything away that looks like it might have some use .
I get into trouble with OH , and have to hide them away .
I bought some strawberry seeds this year in Lanzarote , I don't know how they will be , but I'd better start planting them soon . ( Hope springs eternal .)

The idea is wonderful the hardest part was getting it out of drum.

Would also make a good water plant pot....although it would probably rust, so perhaps not!

Yes Karen it would thats also why I decided to keep in greenhouse .

But doors are frozen cant't get to fill the drum.

So did my walk instead a nice morning but ever so cold.

That washer tub is a work of art Scotkat. All those holes and some larger ones down near the seam. What clever people to design these worked pieces of metal that are so useful to us. Send it to Tate Modern after you have done your recycling bit.
