Loropetalum Blooming

Wow Delonix, this is beautiful! Haven't seen it around here.

It is a large hedge with birds-of-paradise growing in between. It's quite spectacular.

Shot in the dark: loropetalum?

You are welcome. I only know because I have it on my list of srubs . Apparently Zone 7-9 which we would be in, but so far I could not find it in our local GCs.

I'm only guessing, it would be easy to find. I may get one...as it's such a beautiful flowering plant. I'm not too familiar with it, though.

I was looking at that - 7 to 9?

I thinks it's hardy down to 10ºF (-12.2ºC).

Should be safe at the top of my garden then.................

I would guess it's pretty common.

Have just ordered this off ebay, Loropetalum Firedance, was so impressed with the colours, hope it looks like this in a few years time.......I shall be chuffed.
