The large Cup of Gold flower. It's located on the north side of the Whaley House in Old Town, San Diego, CA. Photo taken on President's Day Weekend Holiday (Feb. 16, 2013).

It was blooming very well. I'm surprised it looked so good because this day it was 80ºF (27ºC) and it tends to like the cooler weather.

Very much a specimen for the greenhouse here!

It's ideal daytime temperature (when in bloom) is 70ºF (21ºC) or slightly warmer.

Judging by last summer deffo a greenhouse plant then!!!!!

There it would definitely be a greenhouse plant...as it blooms in winter or early spring.
