Are these a native species Alexa? I have bought 30 bulbs of 'poeticus recurva' for the first time, they are the latest to flower here in the UK, just starting to show green shoots.

Sadly Bampy, my Pleione bulbs must have fried this past summer with all that heat. Not wanting to give up, I potted them up anyway. I don't see any signs of life. I will try again once I have a shady cool place to put them during the summer.

The native narcissus are always more interesting I think!
Poeticus is a late flowering so good to have a few when the rest are finished.
