These trees are in full bloom now and Jacarandas just opened as well this week.

Thank you. They are spectacular at this time of year. As well as Jacarandas. The town is turning blue.

Yes, the Tabebeuias are spectacular in bloom!
Jacarandas do the same thing here...all of San Diego (and many other cities in California) turns blue-purple during their blooming. Tourist are so funny, they always ask what's the purple-blue trees, everywhere?

Sort of like me :-) I do not know lots of plants here...but I do know Jacarandas!

That's magnificent! I love Tabebuia trees! I think this is Tabebuia rosea. It typically has the lighter pink-colored flowers.
