It's been too hot and humid for barbecues lately, Sticki. I'm found indoors in the air-con most of the time, when I'm not at work.

humid is not good! i dont seem to have as much energy as i used to but none at all if its humid!

I'm the same. The high humidity here during our summer is really draining. I don't do much at all in the garden from December through to at least mid-March.

i dont do much from december to february but for the opposite reason ~ its too cold! the ground is frozen today!

Yes, we've been meaning to get down to the creek here in the foothills, but haven't made it yet. It's always a lovely spot for a swim.
